Japan officially lifts the
COVID-19 state of emergency in
Aichi,
Gifu,
Kyoto,
Osaka,
Hyogo and
Fukuoka prefectures due to a decrease in the number of cases, while
Tokyo and surrounding areas will remain in a state of emergency until at least March 7.
