The Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) announces that they have recaptured the North Kordofan areas of Umm Qarfa and Juraikh. The SAF also seize control of the National Export Highway (Omdurman–El Obeid), which connects Sudan's capital Khartoum and North Kordofan.
