Puntland Defense Forces have taken full control of the strategic Wangable Well, following a series of operations that forced ISIS fighters had been driven out of the Well, which for years had served as an important base for the groupβs senior leaders, militants, and their families. Ceelka Wangable is located in the northern Qandala district of the Bari region of Puntland.
