Israeli warplanes strike Syrian troops as they attempt to enter the Druze city of Suwayda in southern Syria. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says he has ordered the Israeli military to protect the Druze from Syria's government.

US President Donald Trump announced a new trade deal with Indonesia. Indonesia will purchase US$15 billion in energy, US$4.5 billion in agricultural products, and 50 Boeing jets, Boeing 777. Indonesia will also allow US products to enter without tariffs, while the US will maintain a 19% tariff on all goods coming from Indonesia. ()
