A police officer is killed and ten other people are injured when two Pakistani Taliban insurgents blow themselves up in a car outside a police station in Islamabad, Pakistan.

Three people are killed and four others are injured in a mass shooting at a Kurdish community center in Paris, France. The perpetrator, a 69-year-old Frenchman, is arrested.
