France's Autorité de la concurrence fines Google a record 500M ($593M) for breaching an April 2020 ruling that ordered the company to negotiate "in good faith" licensing deals with publishers and news agencies for any re-use of copyrighted content. The fine amounts to about 1.1% of the company's yearly profits.
