Twelve people, including an imam, are killed and 15 more are wounded when a bomb explodes inside a mosque in the Shakardara District on the outskirts of Kabul. The Taliban condemns the attack, for which nobody has so far claimed responsibility.

The death toll in Israel rises to nine people killed, including a six-year-old boy.
